Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center
Wanting to enter the Latino market, Dr. Serota at the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center contacted Anne Smith for help. Utilizing Entravision media assets, Anne put together a television and radio package, understanding the small budget available. Their current television spot was translated into Spanish and Anne worked with the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center marketing team to make sure that all the pieces were in place prior to airing.

Dr. Serota also felt that because this was a new market for their business, he wanted to give something back to the community. Anne arranged for the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center to sponsor a public service announcement for ClĂ­nica Tepeyac, a non-profit organization catering to the health and well being of Denver's growing Latino community.

Results: Within the first six months of the campaign, the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Center attained a 200% return on their initial investment.

Safeway
Safeway had a desire to expand their support and outreach for breast cancer. Anne Smith married them to an existing 9News program called Buddy Check 9. Safeway became the first sponsor of Buddy Check 9, investing significant dollars in a monthly campaign to urge women to get a buddy and to remind their buddy to do a breast self-exam on the 9th of every month. In addition, special calendars produced by the 9Health Fair are distributed through Safeway stores. The program also highlights Safeway employees who have been faced with breast cancer through special 30-second spots entitled Safeway Survivors.

Results: The program has become an important social marketing platform for Safeway, and is now in its fifth year of sponsorship.
